Who here gets excited when they attend a party and see that someone brought meatballs? Oh just admit it, you know you do.
Seeing as this is major party season, I thought I'd share my recipe for the easiest (and yummiest) meatballs on Earth.
No really, they are.
First, say hello to the ingredients:
You will need homestyle meatballs and an equal amount of Chili Sauce to Grape Jelly.
Now I suppose you could make your own meatballs, but you're already busy enough this time of year; why do more work than you need? Just buy the store bought ones and be happy it's one less thing to do. :)
Dump the chili sauce, jelly and meatballs into your slow cooker. It won't be pretty looking, but bear with me here. The end result is worth it.
P.S. Get some of those slow cooker liners. You'll thank me later when clean-up is a breeze. :)
If you're short on time, set your cooker to high and spend 2-3 hours doing something else. If you have plenty of time before the party, 4-6 hours on low will do the trick.
When you come back to check on the meatballs after the allotted time, you'll be greeted with a lovely smell and the following sight:
Easy peasy, mac-n-cheesy! You'll be the hit of the party and everyone will be falling over themselves to get this recipe.
Happy New Year!
