Now To Wait

I sat down on Friday night and did our taxes.

After submitting them 2 additional times, due to my inability to remember the online tax password I used last year, I finally received confirmation early Sunday morning that our return was accepted.

I've been stalking the IRS site since then to get an idea on when to expect our return to be deposited in our account.

Today, the results read February 16th.

Hot dog!

So between now and then, if you need me I'll be planning ways to spend our upcoming windfall.

Oh who am I kidding?

It was spent before I hit the final submit button.

Traveling for D's high school graduation in May isn't cheap!

We received our last W2 in the mail yesterday. I know what we will be doing this weekend. I'm hoping if not a return, to not have to pay any more taxes.

We submitted ours on Sunday too and got the same date to estimate our direct deposit. Talk about exciting!
I have so many plans for that money. LOL!!

My husband will wait till April 1, rush around like crazy then file for an extension. Plus he leaves paper work out all over the place. I'm not a happy camper when it comes to taxes. :-(
