Friday Fragments are bits and pieces of your week that are usually brief; too short for a stand-alone post, but too good to discard. Collect humorous observations, "Heard" items, and other small gems and put them together in a Friday Fragments post. Here we go....
- D informed me yesterday that he now has his driving permit. Be afraid people, be very afraid. There is a 17 year old hormone with feet and permission to operate a motorized vehicle loose in Southern Mississippi.
- K has been fascinated with nursing for awhile. She asks me sometimes about how she used to drink mommo milk and if that's what made her such a big, strong girl. I realized exactly how fascinated she was when she showed me yesterday that her stuffed baby doggie was drinking mommo milk from a stuffed mama cat. Well I don't think that's exactly how it works, but I suppose it could happen. Right?
- This little gem was seen on the way home from dance last night. I swear this picture is not doctored in any way. It's the real deal and well, I'll let the picture speak for itself:
I'm sure there's more, but I can't remember anything else right now. Y'all have a great weekend!

The blurb about D and his permit concerns me.
I wrote a post (that I thought had some pretty relevant/thought provoking info in it) in my post the one just below my FF.
I don't usually self promote my stuff on other's comments, but it felt relevant. Hope it does not upset you.
It's just meant to say "I hear you"!!

In Michigan, kids start driver's training at 14 yrs 8 months. Crazy. That's what it really is.
That egzit? I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

That's what we get for praising schoolchildren for their "creativity" in spelling. Stopping by from SITS.

I'm not sure I like the idea of an "egzit." Kinda like an egg-zit...ewww.

Hmmm, someone on the DPW needs to learn how to spell or is a jokester! I am happy I have a few years till my kids get their permits! YIKES!

Oh my, who wrote "egzit"? It sounds the same.

That is the most hilarious sign I have seen in a long time!

OMG, I almost peed my pants when I saw the "Egzit" sign. WOW! That is just unbelievable.
You never know...a puppy may enjoy cat milk. :)

Hey, maybe misspellings make people pay attention. I am wondering, though, how many people even notice?
Thanks for the comment today. Yes, I use Stampin' Up stuff. I belong to a monthly club and have learned a lot of awesome techniques.

I always wonder if signs like those are mistakes or if people are just being silly.

That is too funny on the sign. Sometimes they mess up and when they do it's usually a doozie! I once had a dog that nursed baby kittens...so yes, it could happen lol.

Thanks for the warning to avoid the roads in Mississippi for a while... ;) Maybe he'll be an expert driver before our next trip to Louisiana (by way of Mississippi) next July... ;)
Egzit - that's just way too funny!
Happy FF! :)

Maybe they posted the word EGZIT because people weren't noticing the sign... yeah, that's it! It was intentional LOL
I went to drivers ed with a girl who was the worst driver I've ever seen. Worst Ever. She didn't pass. In fact, I heard just a few weeks ago that she still doesn't drive. That gives me confidence that people who get DL's when they are young, at least had someone watching their driving and believed they could do it.

Wow. Well I suppose it IS attention getting. I hope that wasn't done accidentally!!
I remember the day Kyle (age 3) said,"I want to drink some of that" when I was nursing his sister. I told him to go get a spoon, and I put some milk in it. He wasn't impressed, haha.

"...a 17 year old hormone with feet and permission to operate a motorized vehicle loose in Southern Mississippi." That is brilliant!
