If you pay any attention to the calendar, you know that Valentine's Day is next Saturday.
If you pay any attention to Valentine's Day, you know that red, pink, and white are typical colors associated with Valentine's Day.
If you pay any attention to my blog, you know that OPI nail polish is my favorite.
What on earth do these have in common? Well, not much actually. I needed a good reason to give away this polish and thought I'd tie it together with Valentine's Day.
Lame I know, but I'm like that I guess. :)
I have two brand new bottles of red OPI polish (2 different colors even!) sitting here dying to be deposited into someone's hands. I will be giving one away here, and one away on Manicure Mommas.
From the OPI website:
OPI colors are DBP (dibutyl phthalate), toluene, and formaldehyde free. They are not tested on animals and are chip resistant. The company also donates millions of dollars to multiple charities, with an emphasis on those which support health-related causes and children’s education.
You can feel guilt free when you indulge in OPI polish, which I do quite regularly. :)
Woot!
Here's the dealio:
The Prize:
One brand new bottle of OPI Don't Toy With Me nail polish

To see it on fingers, go here.
Whatcha gotta do to win:
Tell me what your plans are for Valentine's Day. I'll be living vicariously through y'all as my plans involve eating pizza and chilling out at home. This rule is a must! This is your first entry.
For additional chances to win:
- Subscribe to this blog (if you already do, that counts)...leave a separate comment telling me
- Tweet this contest...leave a separate comment including your tweet link
- Post about this contest on your own blog...leave a separate comment about your post
Fine Print:
- Winners are chosen by Random.Org, if you want all your chances counted, make sure you leave individual comments!
- Contest ends Monday, 2/9 12AM EST. (I guess that's technically midnight Monday morning, but you get the idea) I need to send the polish out by Monday to make sure you get it by Valentine's Day so you can wear it when you go out, or stay home! :)
- Open to US Bloggers only (sorry to my friends in the great white north and overseas)
- Rules for each entry must be followed to be valid.
- You may enter here or at Manicure Mommas, depending on which color you prefer. If you'd like to enter to win both colors, all rules must be followed on each site.
Good luck!
Comments are closed for this giveaway. Thank you for entering and good luck. Winners will be announced by 12 noon EST today.
Oooooo... I really like the color!
I'm not sure yet what our Valentine's plans are (does that count?)... probably nothing, as Shane says its just another day to him!

Love the color!! I am an OPI addict too. Who can say no when Ulta always has a buy 2 get 1 free sale?!
Sadly, I have yet to make plans for Valentine's. My plans have to be kiddo friendly though (don't know any sitters in the new state) so I don't think you want to live vicariously through my dinner at Macaroni Grill and come home to one more viewing of HSM or Camp Rock. (If you do....I'll keep ya posted :)

Another Smoochiefrog giveaway! Hurray! I have a good record with your giveaways, so I'm feeling pretty confident right now. ;)
Valentine's Day plans...hmmm. It's a Saturday right? Well, I've babysat for the same family the last two Valentine's Days, but I have heard from them this year. I prefer to babysit, because then I'm not at home moping, and get to enjoy the kids' candy. If I don't get a call to babysit, then I'll try to make plans with my roommate or another friend or two who are also single.

I don't want to bore you to tears with the same answer I left on manicuremommas, so I'll expand on the probablility of what BF and I will do - most likely stay at home (we're not big crowd people), get some pizza delivered, watch a good movie, and just enjoy being with each other :)

OPI nail polish is my fave too!! Whoever comes up with their color names is pure genius.
For Valentine's Day, hubby & I will probably chill at home with the kiddos, but the next weekend, we're hoping to go see a Cirque du Soleil show in Atlanta. Crossing my fingers!!

Valentine's Day at the JDM household means one thing. The husband will be going to the Louisville Farm Show. I know...can you stand the excitement?! I am sure he will give me a nice card and a bottle of wine...to drink by myself.

Fun!
We're likely not doing anything since we just celebrated our anniversary on Jan 19th and I was just laid off (therefore, no money). We'll just stay in and watch a movie or something.
Visiting from SITS. =)

Forgot to leave my plans!!
Valentine's Day:
Playing mixed doubles with Pumpkin (aka my hubby) in our Valentine's Day tennis tournament.
Lurking at home while the eldest chicklet has a potential beau over to "hang out" before she has to go cheer
Going to the high school basketball Varsity games to watch her cheer - and our teams lose...again. :)
Another wild & crazy day!

My hubby always works on V-Day so it'll be just me at home in jammies watching tv. It's fine; I'm used to it.

Nothing exciting for us. My husband will be working on Valentine's Day (he's a firefighter, works 24 hour shifts), so I will be at home hanging out with the kids on V-Day.
