So D came back into town Wednesday. It's so great having him home! I honestly wish he'd stay here (the kids do too), but we'll have to see. Maybe my cooking can win him over.
Anyway.
I have an aquaintance from our old church that does hair, and she operates a salon out of her home. I introduced D to her 2 Christmas' ago when she first cut and dyed his hair. Now he wants her to be the only one to touch his hair. That would explain why he looks like this when he gets here Wednesday:
I scheduled an appointment with her right after his flight was confirmed, and Thursday was the day. He wanted to get his hair dyed red again, as well as cut. He wanted to fashion the cut and dye job after this person's hair:
(That's professional wrestler Chris Jericho for those who don't know who he is. Man you Canadians sure can raise them right! YUM!)
I have no problem with him doing what he wants with his hair, as it's just hair and it'll grow out if I don't like it. Plus, it's his head and if it looks bad he's the one who has to deal with the stares. :)
Please enjoy these pictures taking D from Shaggy to Stylish. Oh the embarrassment!
Before
I just loved the little blue bow. :)
After she pulled the hair out to dye it.
"I'm trying so hard to still look cool, but this thing is making it difficult!"
How he felt about me continuing to take pictures.
After the shampoo
She said something funny!
The reveal
Final result in the sunlight. You can see exactly how red it is.
I knew it would turn out nice looking as he had the same cut and color done 2 years ago. It's a little longer than it was then, but I love how it looks on him.
This weekend is M's dance recital weekend. It's going to be wicked crazy around here, but I'll be back on Sunday with my Weekly Winners.
Have a great weekend!
